This year I decided I would be Bold and take a leap of Faith! Here I am doing just that and I have to say that it feels liberating!!!
I am organizing a Rome Fashion Cocktail event for the upcoming summer that is just around the corner! I am very excited! It is a great opportunity for Fashion Bloggers and Fashion Lovers to get to know each other and do some networking. I feel like Rome does not offer enough of these types of events! And this is such a great city that has so much potential! I would Love to know your thoughts and if you have any ideas! If you are in town, pease let me know if you would like to attend!
Casa & Bottega is an equisite little boutique where you can enjoy a nice aperitive. I came across this adorable cocktail bar by chance and I must say that it truly is a lovely little place to enjoy a great Hugo cocktail and some delicious food. From the cocktails to the food, it was all presented with elegance and taste. The staff are so welcoming that it feels like you have just made some new friends in this magnificient city, Rome.
I highly recommend this place for anyone who comes and visit Rome or who lives just around the corner.
Please do try the Hugo cocktail, it is superb! It is definitly my new favorite drink!!
Let me start by saying, “This book is Fabulous!” I came across it while browsing Crosby Noricks blog. Let me quickly explain how and why I stumbled upon her blog.
I majored in Events Management and Music and Media Management and during my first year of University I had to take a Marketing module. I fell in Love with marketing, communications and public relations. And more specifically with applying it to the Music, Movie and Fashion Industry. Fashion being the one I discovered recently. So, I started to do some research online on how it works. A click here and there and before I knew it I was reading her very informative blog with excitement! I then read that she was publishing her very first book, “The PR Couture Guide To Breaking Into Fashion PR,” and of course, I had to buy it!!!
The book came in a few days ago and was so amazed at how much information I was learning through her experience and advice. I am very much enjoying reading it and look forward to putting her tips into practice. I really feel that while reading her book she takes you by the hand and helps you on how to explore this fascinating world of Fashion PR. She explains what PR is in the fashion industry to how to get your foot through the door and use the internet and its social media outlets to help you achieve your goals.
If any of you are interested in Fashion PR or are just curious, this book is definitely a great read not only with the valuable information and insight she has provided the reader with but also through her involving and fluid writing.
I just want to end this little post with a Huge Thank You to everyone who reads my blog!
Hi!!! I’m getting ready to go jogging at Villa Borghese today. Gotta start training for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in May held here in Rome. I did it once before and it was really an amazing event. It’s for such a great cause; raising awareness against breast cancer, and I’m really looking forward to the day of the race in May. I wanted to share this post with you all because the Race for the Cure is held in so many different countries and locations that anyone can participate in this memorable day. So if you have a chance to do so, it is really worthwhile!
Have a Beautiful Day!
I have a huge confession to make… I am a Chocolate addict!!! I still have to meet someone who is not in Love with Chocolate!! Chocolate I believe makes everyone really Happy! It is so goooood! Living in Rome you get to try and enjoy the most wonderful chocolate ever! My favorite is Fondente and Fondente con Nocciole. Yummy!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Sending you all lots of Love but most of all lots of sweetness!

Today we went for a stroll around Via del Babuino, Piazza di Spagna, Via Condotti and Via del Corso. These are the best places to visit if you are in the mood for some shopping in Rome. You will find all of the finest stores: Giuseppe Zanotti, Miu Miu, Chanel, Gucci, Missoni and the list goes on. Everything your fashionista heart desires to see, you will find it in these spectacular places!!! Each and every step is truly a breathtaking experience, passing little streets, monuments and sweet little cafe’s.
As we were walking, we passed by Giuseppe Zanotti on Via del Babuino. I had to take a picture of this sexy heel!!!!
I was hoping to take lots more pictures but I got a bit carried away by all the looking and awing in amazement at the beautiful bags, shoes, and clothes. I will be definitely put up more pics next time!
Piazza di Spagna
After strolling around the city center, we went to Circo Massimo where there is this cute little restaurant, 0,75, where you can enjoy a great aperitivo. The food is delicious and the drinks they make are truly exquisite!
This is what was left on my plate after some great pasta al forno, formaggio, and lenticchie. Yummy!!! Don’t forget a great glass of wine to go with your meal!!!
To finish it up…. some chocolate sweetness!!
Have a great day everyone!!
Un Bacione, Katica
